Circon circulation control device
The circulation-control device CIRCON allows the avoidance of constant warm losses with the circulation of hot water.
Up to now:
A hot water-circulation pump provides for the fact that the water moves in the conduits constantly in a circulation. The cooling off water is continuously substituted with the warm, even if just no hot water is used.
Besides, by loss of heat to the masonry and to the environment heating energy gets lost constantly.
Beside this loss of warm energy, the electric circulation pump is round-the-clock in company and the boiler needs additional heating cycles to warm up the Pfufferspeicher more often.
The solution:
CIRCON is a microcontroller steered preswitch device for the hot water-circulation pump which limits the circulation times linked with energy loss to a sensible minimum.
Functional way:
CIRCON switches on your circulation pump only according to demand in two overlapping modes of operation:
1. With accidental requirement:
i.e. after brief opening at all of a hot-water valve in the house.
A short push thereby shoots hot water from the boiler in the steep path management and is noted by the temperature sensor immediately. The pump is switched on. In spite of valve closed again in the meantime, warm water is ready after a short time.
The returning water in the circulation management is supervised with an other temperature sensor. If this one temperature rise registers, the pump is put down, because now all Zapfstellen were supplied enough.
2. Farsighted circulation:
If regular, everyday consumption customs are recognized, CIRCON automatically starts in Ahead, so that no waiting periods appear. The device "learns" constantly with and balances the farsighted terms constantly with actual Zapfzeiten.
Points the customs on week-ends clearly from, so this is also automatically recognized by the device. With longer absence, e.g., vacation, pump runs are completely prevented up to occasional Spülläufe (legion ell-supervision). If hot water is taken sometime again, the qualified custom rhythm is active immediately again.
With the help of a set slit at the side located in the device exists the possibility to determine the compromise between the highest savings effect and the best comfort independently: In medial position both are in the well-balanced relation. The more is shifted in the red area, the more the comfort predominates, i.e., also more seldom observed customs are faster learned and remain valid longer without revitalization.
With adjustment in the blue area the savings effect predominates, i.e. returning and stronger time-engaged customs are learned only regularly.
An easy installation
After the temperature sensors have fastened and have been stuck on in the device, CIRCON is inserted between net plug (circulation pump) and wall outlet.

Saving potential:
If, e.g., the whole pump term is reduced daily to 2 hrs, can be saved even in modern, well dammed up 1-to 2-family houses at least 100 € per year in running costs.
Beside the heating energy-saving you also lower the wear of the pump and the boiler because both are more seldom in company.
